With over a decade of diverse social work experience, Sam (they/them) isskilled in direct service, advocacy, and technical assistance for nonprofits.They specialize in assisting agencies to cultivate best practices forsupporting LGBTQ individuals experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, andsexual assault. They hold a Master of Social Work degree from Texas StateUniversity, where they were recognized with a statewide award for political engagementon behalf of the LGBTQ community. Outside of work, Sam finds joy in spendingtime with their dog, loved ones, and nature. They are most fulfilled whenvolunteering and hiking, sometimes simultaneously.
