Face the Homeless is a grassroots campaign that sparked from an idea to educate the community from a statewide perspective through art, advocacy and creating awareness about homelessness. This campaign reaches out, in particular, to homeless service providers, Texas communities, concerned citizens, and the government officials.

Calendars
Texas Homeless Network produced a calendar for 2007 and a calendar for 2008 to kick off the Face the Homeless Campaign. The 2007 Calendar focused on almost every population that is represented in the homeless community supported by state statistics and fascinating pictures of the homeless individuals. The 2008 Calendar focused on the organizations around Texas that are preventing and eliminating homelessness.

Now in it's third year, the Face the Homeless Campaign is working on its 3rd annual calendar for 2009!
For this calendar, THN will partner with the Texas Homeless Education Office to create a collection of artwork from homeless children which is the fastest growing homeless population in Texas.

Each shirt includes a picture on the front with a statistic on the back about single women, single men, and families experiencing homelessness.
