HUD's HIntitiative is designed to help communities integrate subsidized housing and health care services on a systems level for homeless people and low-income people living with HIV/AIDS. Texas is fortunate to have been selected as one of the few sites to receive an on-site TA session this year!

View the invitation and RSVP. The TA session is September 16 and 17 at the City of Austin Neighborhood Housing and Community Development. The deadline to RSVP is August 31st.

We especially need representatives from the state's FQHCs, Managed Care Organizations and Medicaid to attend. Please spread the word!

Do you shop at Amazon.com? That was a bit of a rhetorical question since I don't know anyone that doesn't shop there. Did you know that Amazon has a special feature called AmazonSmile? Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice - simple, automatic, and no extra cost. We see it as a win-win.

TheHumanSolution.com recently chose THN as their charity so now all eligible purchases made through AmazonSmile will benefit us!

Please consider using AmazonSmile to benefit your favorite charity (hopefully it's us). Pass on the information to friends and family and encourage them and their business to participate as well. Every percent adds up!
